About Mortlake
Mortlake is a suburban district of London, in Richmond upon Thames, it is on the Southbank of the river, between Kew and Barnes. Mortlake was part of Surrey until 1965, when it was incorporated into the ever expanding London. Our estate agents love Mortlake for its riverside views and community feel, the Oxford-Cambridge boat race finishes here each year.
Mortlake Local’s Tips
Mortlake may be a small area, but you’ll never run out of places to eat. Our estate agents love Rick Steins, which is housed in former council stables, on the river. Rick Steins is a local gathering place that serves brasserie-style meals.
Forty Four is another restaurant that offers a fine dining experience, with modern European and Asian fusion dishes on the menu. They source fresh, quality, local ingredients to prepare dishes with artistry and beauty.
